I've decided to close this site down, I will be deleting everything from here in a while. I really do not have the time or resources to be updating it with any regularity, and there are plenty of other good Kimba/Jungle Emperor sites on the 'net. I would recommend http://www.kimbawlion.com/ ie http://www.kimba.us/ for all your White Lion needs. The site has tons of info, pictures, links, and goodies worth checking out, and is updated frequently. The Kimba the White Lion Yahoo! Group is also a nice place to chat about Kimba and hear about the latest news.

Jungle Emperor is the story of Leo, who first appeared in the Jungle Emperor manga, created by Osamu Tezuka in the 1950's, which was later adapted into the first color television anime series, and a follow up series, Jungle Emperor: Go Leo!, between 1965 and 1967. When the first series was shown in the United States of America in 1966, his name was changed to Kimba the White Lion by the NBC network. Then in the early part of the 1980's the second series was edited and dubbed, and released as Leo the Lion, on the premise that Kimba had changed his name to Leo when he became an adult.
